New to site thought i would say hi

as title suggest i am new to the site, my name is Danny and i am a mobile mechanic in northampton, i aquired my first HiJet last night and i have some big plans for her, she is a 2001 1.3 and from the quick glance i had she is very clean. here are some pics and ill keep you all updated with mods and repairs as i do them.

It looks like a high quality respray job

respray is actually crap but that not an issue as when rest of mods are done it is gonna be gloss black with lime green sign writing

Judging by that inner arch on the rear drivers side, I'd have a proper dig into the sills, inner arches and other common spots before I went spending loads of dosh on anything else.

Once they start to go it's more work than its worth to save them.

Take the interior cards off from the rear above the wheel arches and have a look on the side that hasn't been sprayed. Then you can see the truth.

i started my company doing retorations so i few spots of welding will never be an issue but i went over her and its just surface rust just wants a clean and anti rust treatment putting on inside of o/s/r arch (so far) was gonna get it jackedup today but good old english weather put a stop to that
