I made car ramps out of old palets (3 palets high=18") and steel a couple of years ago, and the 'jackpads' made out of ice hockey pucks.

I have a small bearing-puller made from 2 of those bolts that secure Yale type lock cylinders, a keep from a door lock and a socket. Luckily I only need to use it every 5 years or so.
