Thanks for that HJ .Have just finished parcelling up a tank for PFM. It was imacculate. But what a pain trying to protect the two pump pipes an the all important breather pipe because if that is rusty and snaps off cant exactly weld another one on --- well not easily but i have just thought of a way to do it. I have welded many petrol tanks in my time and am still here to tell the tale.
I will have to come up with one of your cunning plans on how to protect it during transportation
on a regular basis.
Dunno whats going on but it must be National Hi-Jet Petrol Tank Week. Have been asked for two this week already and now the third one above .

You don't say whether van or pick-up. Have got loads of Pick-up ones off but no vans off at the moment. -----I have just looked on your statistics and see from your posts it is a an MPV. I have got one tank left on a vehicle --- no two vehicles thinking about it but I am roofing all day tomorrow and then away for five days on Thursday to the Mainland.
Back on Monday night and roofing for 3 days thereafter. Bad timing really. Sods Law isnt it. If I can I will try and get over late tomorrow to my mates yard where I have a couple of Jets stored and see what the van one is like and will PM you or better still PM me your mobile and I will call you.
But no chance of getting it off this week though SD. Sorry. Woody.

The spares and Hi-Jets for sale are just a hobby at the moment though rapidly building into a business it would seem.
Make sure you stay on this site and post as and when you can as much as you can because I put the Regular Contributors first always which is only fair as far as I am concerned.

You are wrong about getting a laugh on here though. You will get loads of laughs on here -- there are a real bunch of comedians on here so you are GUARANTEED a laugh on this Forum
plus many willing and able members to help whichever way they can. Woody.

With all the fun and games( NOT ) wrapping up this one for PFM in Eastbourne to send by carrier
as you are only in Sussex it would be easier if you came to Pompey and come over on the Catamaran or the Hovercraft and I meet you at the Ryde Terminal.

Morning Ron . I am very sorry but just not going to be able to make the deadline for your Petrol Tank tomorrow.
Yesterday afternoon as we were clearing up after finishing the huge flat roof I slipped down some shallow concrete steps and have made my already torn painful Achilles Tendon much worse.
I have an appointment with the Doctors this afternoon at 4-10pm so a bit incapacitated to say the least. Humble apologies my friend. Give me a call tomorrow please.
As far as I know we are still coming over to go up to Tamworth NEXT Friday evening so perhaps we could sort something out for then.
Very sorry to let you down.

ok, hope its not to painfull last thing you need when work is so busy.
if we can sort something for next friday that should be good i think ill try to put old one back on this weekend then it will give me more time to clean and fit the one from you.
