You are probably right about the mad bit Matt, but from the picture you posted your mate Dave has quite a few by the looks of things.
The Romahome with no number plate on it was an 04 plate with 51000 on the clock I finally finished that last Thursday to the delight of its new
owner who promptly went off camping in it on the Island and jammy beggars had great weather for it too.
So down to 13 Hi-jets now but am going to start running a Wanted ad on "Wightbay" regularly soon for dead or dieing Hi-Jets now that I have got
much bigger unit next door for storage of parts. Needs racking out and electrics sorting out which will nick some of my time but look forward to dis-
membering a few or many Hi-Jets for spares and advertising on the Website I have had made for me.
With my lack of computer skills that should be a laugh. . Will keep you all informed when I get into top gear with the sale of parts on more
than just a part time basis . Got to sort out carriers etc too so loads to do.

If its Landrovers - I'm out!
I could spend the rest of my life fixing a land rover.
I just have to give up when enough of it works.
And they always leak oil all over my yard.

I always try not to use bad language anywhere in the public domain--- so I promise after this post I will never use THAT swearword again on this site.

Are you REALLY sure about that Logi ? I would like to see where your sickness limit really is ---- although being the nice clean living young boy that I
am perhaps on second thoughts I would rather not find where your limits are !!!!

Grand little Mover.

Hi Waz. It is a lovely little estate car actually (or WAZ if you will pardon the pun) which I gave £200 for and it is in really nice nick and runs beautifully. Can I ask you now to sit down with a LARGE glass of your favourite and brace yourself.
I have just dis-membered it !! Ripped its heart out. Broken it up for spares. Going to that great Scrapyard in the sky. Phew!! Are you still breathing mate??
I actually bought it purely for its 1600cc engine to put in one of my Hi-Jet Pickups-- probably the 05 plate one.
HJ very kindly posted an article for me on what is involved in swopping all the Hi-Jet bits over and putting the finished lump in to make it a nice little Wolf-in-sheeps-clothing.
I have just broken up a pickup and saved the flatbed and rear chassis to cut a 600mm length out of the front section of it then the plan is to take the bed off of the 05 and
cut the chassis in half and weld in the 600mm section with a length of box-section inside it, plug welding onto the box-section inside and then seam weld all four joints and grind and sand down so the chassis looks original and then brake pipes, loom, fuel lines, propshaft etc will all have to be lengthened and also the flatbed lengthened (using part of the dismantled one) and the sides all very patiently and slowly welded together to avoid the metal distorting and then ground and sanded joints. Then the whole lot painted ( before doing the aforementioned pipes loom etc. )
I will keep a photographic record of the work step by step ( stop laughing all you beggars at the fact I cant get to grips with actually SENDING them, but can do all the mechanical bits ---- I know its a damn good laugh but I am not laughing-- I am very Red Faced )
All very time consuming but will give me an 8ft 3" flatbed to put 8x4 sheets in and with the extra length will handle better hanging the tail round the bends. Will look quite different and give a good many "Boy Racers" red faces too. Great fun eh?

Re: Woody's Pics
Flippin well need them. Have just bought a Nexus 7 tablet and will follow Rich's very detailed upload details and see if I am successful using that. Its a great toy I must admit.
I am just about to move into additional premises. Once I am sorted there then I can concentrate more on buying and selling, but for the moment more interested in breaking vehicles -- something I have been doing here for 33years.
Might in the meantime prevail on you to lighten Logis load and upload some more recent piccies. Cheers, Woody

It's not hard, you can do it.
Just relax, and look at what's in front of you.
Computers are not your enemy!!!
I have faith you can do it

Re: Woody's Pics
Thank you very much Matt. I really do feel so much of a twirp not being able to get to grips with this.
Compared to putting pictures on Ebay or Wightbay- or even that hopless Gumtree they are a piece of cake.
My friend Paul who helps me with any Computer probs --- he couldnt seem to understand it-.
Anyway I am going over to see my son in Southampton on the 19th whose job is worldwide on-line trouble shooting and he is going to show me.
Thats what I really need --to see someone do it then have a go myself-
Everything that I do workwise has been self-taught === by watching others at work and then haviing a go at iy myself.
Only qualifications I have taken was my HGV 3 in 1972 then HGV 2 in 1980 plus the Mickey-Mouse LPG course I took at Romahome in 2004.
Oh yes I did a course on Vehicle electrics at Salisbury -- cant remember what year though ( I think Austin were still making the Austin 7 then and I was still in short trousers)
( Thats why I waffle on in my posts on here --coz it gives me practice at using this infernally wonderful bit of gadgetry that most of us cant do without and my Mobiles (5 of them ) are my life blood with 1077 contact names on each one.
Everything else -- welding, plumbing,carpentry.electrics,flat-roofing etc. are all self taught.
I do want to thank you again Matt for your many kindnesses to me and everyone on this site --- you are a real Diamond Mate.
Better get some sleep now -- gotta be up for work at 6-15 am and blimey its 4-25 now , Strewth. 2 hours sleep almost.

Re: Woody's Pics
Oh yes an the picture of the swearword that Logi refused to put on and the ones that leak all over your yard is a 2010 one with the Ford Puma 5 cylinder turbo lump in it --- and amazingly --- it doesn't leak.
