interior bling

Had today off work so had abit of a tidy up around the house ( the wife will be pleased ,might get some tonight) chucked out some crap and found a 70s cassette deck with some nice shiney knobs on ! 5 mins with the screw driver and the hijet now has some new heater control slider knobs ! they just sliped on. its like they were made for it.

They do look 100% better that the crappy black rubber ones and they don't look like they came out the halfords 99p bagain bin.

No they don't look cheap at all! They look like they came of a 1970's alba or kenwood all in one stereo, the kind that sit on top of the side board with the record player and tape top loader, one a bit like this:-



But only cos I know!!

I like but the missus wasn't bothered, I like trick tweeks and to do things the way old hot rod boys did back when it was all new and swap about or make to suit where she likes to leave it all OE.
