Wind deflectors.
I'm sure I seen a HiJet with wind deflectors on the front door windows somewhere, but can't remember where.
Anyone know where you can buy these from...seen some on the net, but at £57.00 is a bit steep me-thinks.

^^^Much better price there .
The ones I found were plus P&P which totalled too £65.00 .
Nice find Logi, I spent ages looking on the net and that's all I came up with.

Re: Wind deflectors.
Just got confirmation they had been shipped. Though there is no listing for the Hijet, maybe they don't know its the same? (or they're f***ing with me and have nicked my dosh? )

Re: Wind deflectors.
They will not know they are the same like most parts places, they won't want to assume anything.
Fancy posting up some pictures when they turn up, as I'll use you as a test dummy before I order a set

Re: Wind deflectors.
No worries, i'll stick some pix up when they arrive. More to the point i hope they work, it's been rather warm up here but the Hijet isn't the most comfortable with the window down(need to figure out how to fit aircon )

Re: Wind deflectors.
Still a bit odd because I did state in my e-mail to them..... 'for a Piaggio Porter', as that's what I have, I didn't mention HiJet to them .

Hmmmm!! Weird
Lets see how this plays out... they might be sitting there in a weeks time puzzled to why they have sold loads of sets of Piaggio Porter wind deflectors, when normally then never sell any.
Maybe then they need emailing and told they fit the hijet.... in exchange for a hijet forum discount code
Re: Wind deflectors.
OK. Had another reply about the 'wind deflectors'.
Looks like Logi may have been lucky and had the last ones in stock .
Not to worry guys...... there's more due in the next couple of weeks .......
Here's the reply from Micks Garage ....
Hi
thank you for the email.
My apologies the email was misleading.
What was meant is that the deflectors are out of stock but i have checked it up an they are due in the next two weeks.
Regards
Ian

Re: Wind deflectors.
Had another email today about the wind deflectors.
I think Ian and Colin at 'Micks Garage' should start talking to each other.....
One minute they're for sale...then 'we don't stock them'.... then, 'they're due in the next 2 weeks'........
Now they're 'special order'
WTF's going on .
Here's the latest email......
Hi,
we are out of stock of this item, if you require this we can get you these however they would e a special order and could take a number of weeks to arrive into stock.

Re: Wind deflectors.
Do they fit? Yea and no, drivers side no probs, pass side not as good, the moulding seems a wee bit off, doesnt clip in as well as the drivers side. Catches the window a bit too. Will be in touch with Mick/ whoever but couldnt be bothered yesterday as it was sunny and went topless in the Merc instead

Re: Wind deflectors.
Wee update, fudded about with the pass side today, got it in better, window works now
Definite difference today with the window down, 65mph, wee draught but 100% better than before.

Re: Wind deflectors.
I think you lot want wind deflectors because your all getting old and have no hair to let the wind blow through
Re: Wind deflectors.
Tbh one thing I miss is quarterlights, you could drive with the window down without getting your face blown off

You what you what?
Is this something from the era of pop out indicators and when wing mirrors were actually attached to your wings?
Re: Wind deflectors.
I haven't found wind a problem via the door windows, you lads must drive too fast.
