Anyone do Jap car shows?

My missus commented it would be nice to meet other Hi Jet owners at Jap car thingys, so does anyone go?

I'm going to be at JAE and Japshow Finale this year.

Jap show finale 2012, saturday 29th and sunday 30th September - Santa Pod

JAE 7th to the 9th September - Wicksteed Park, Kettering

I'm tempted by the Jap show finale, I used to do these shows years ago.

Might do the rwyb and try for the class G trophy as its not the most popular of classes

G class was won by a Charade with a time of 14.7405s @98 mph at the recent Japshow.

My missus normally takes the van with my lot so it's normally on our stand

Yeah my mate won that same class in a gtti a few years back, you just have to hope no one else turns up

Haha, my mate won Class B in his MR2 doing a 12.9 something, his cars quite fast though, got a video in his car at Mallory park

Anyone going to JAE in Kettering? I'll be there with my mates (TB Developments) and the new look MR2

I didn't enjoy that day, they let too many cars out on track at once, I think there were about 20 cars out per session? Too many ar5eholes too, on the sighting lap there were people overtaking on corners that are designated non-overtaking corners on proper laps!
