Kawasaki zzr11000 conversion

Have finally got myself a zzr1100 motor for my long planned conversion.
Still in the early planning stages but I'm looking for tips on gear change mechanisms.
Any help appreciated

I welded up side to side axis. Thus the Hijet lever then only moved forwards + backwards.
Then I got a bowden cable made up that was the right fittings for the gear lever, and I modifed the bikes foot pedal to attach the bowden cable. There are places up and down the country that specialise in control cables, will put whatever ends on anything you want. Simples innit!
