Wanted Tow Bar For 993 MPV

Title says all, bit of a long shot but worth a try.
Would also like to know what they're rated to, if anyone has one in use?

Dunno about the 993 but the 1300 can tow a fair bit

Th limit for the 993 will be the 34hp it produces!

You are under estimating the amazing power of Skylark. The 1200 Diesel develops 34 bhp but your 993cc EFI develops 44bhp or 47 bhp depending on where or what you read.

Somehow with the 1400 Diesel and that extra 200cc they managed to find an extra 10bhp giving the same as the 993cc EFI.

my concern isn't with the power of the van, just want to be sure that the trailer gross isn't over what the van is rated to.
Not that i'll ever be carrying much weight, just some tools for gardening to keep this minter tidy.
personally i wouldn't try towing more than 400/500 even on the 1.3 without a braked trailer.

They are rare to find but .... there is one (1984) for sale in the Netherlands.

Wondering whether the 1.3 van towbar will fit onto the 1.0 mpv? Would have thought no, however the guy at the other end of the phone at the breakers says it will fit. Can anyone confirm?
