Hi dudes I got a hijet the other week ...
Just busy welding it up. little lombo 1.2 pickup job
Anyway I found this in it I thought it was one of those alarms from the 80s but it has several wires going to it
Can I bin it or am I best just putting it back from whenst it came
I don't like the look of it
Is it factory fit ?

Never seen one of those before.

Certainly not original equipment.

I'd call it scrap.

Careful with snip snip just in case it wont start after snip snip! I would just cut a few or disconnect a few at a time and check it still starts, could be an imobiliser as well as flsh lights etc.

Yeah I have got it off now there's a couple of wires run to the "engine" I presume to the stop solenoid ? I will sort them later when I get to the engine its a bit of a shed I have welded the chassis up just doing the front suspension mounts now going to run out of fridge to weld in the holes soon Smile
