First major trip for Skylark Empty First major trip for Skylark

Took Skylark up to the North East yesterday to pick up a pair of Smart car seats and visit brother in law who happed to live virtually next door by coincidence. 188 mile round trip up the A1 and A19 etc. Kept it at a steady 50-55 mpg all the way and just worked out the mpg...42.93mpg! Really chuffed with that and temp was well under control. Usually getting about 32-35 mpg pottering about. Must hold my hand up and say its not down to my mechanical skills...just the mechanic at the garage knows what he is doing!
