soggy footwells Empty soggy footwells

Sure I saw a thread about this ages ago when I didn't need it and now can't find it when I do... Rolling Eyes

As the title suggests, front footwell carpets are damp/ wet underneath, both sides but driver side is worse. I had put this down to my leaky sunroof but now think it is unconnected. I'm not 100% sure if the water ingress only happens whilst on the move or also when parked up.

Basically, is this common, and if so can anyone give any pointers for where I should be looking for a likely source of the leak to save me hours of fannying around? 2000 1.3 MPV if that makes a difference.
