Manifold heat sheild & water pump

998 FEI 1997 MPV CB42

mine came off ok, but its rusted to hell, Sieve comes to mind!

anyone got one of these kicking about or know where i can get another in better condition?

BTW its the one that does not come in a head gasket kit.

Also after a water pump for the same van. not had a look at mine yet for condition but of its bad i'll be needing one!
seen a few on Flea bay but they all list the model before and after mine.

when I got the replacement pump for ours as soon as it came out the box I could see it was wrong and when they looked in to it they came up with a adaptor as the OE one has a 10mm bleed off spout but the replacement is smaller and you jam a 10mm spout into a bit of rubber hose to fit the pump and then connect in as usual. It has worked fine since fitting and the shop had sold one to someone before me and as far as they know its good too.
