Electric Power Steering conversion.

I've just got a '97 993 Hijet Camper for my Mum, which she LOVES, only trouble is she finds the steering a bit heavy at low speeds (old shoulder injury..). Has anyone here fitted electric power steering to their Hijet? I was wondering which system would be easiest to fit... I'm leaning towards the Suzuki Wagon R setup at the mo but can see Punto and Corsa systems too. I can see that fitting the motor under the dash could be an issue though... Any advice would be most appreciated!

Welcome - but before going down that route, have you checked the tyre pressures and gone over the steering to ensure all is well and grease-points are full?
