water bottle
i havnt got a manual for my piaggio porter can someone tell me what the bottle on the right side next to the dash board is for .

Er, not a good idea to be putting water in there young man. Could cause one or two embarrassing problems like brake failure. It is the Brake Fluid Reservoir for the Brake Master Cylinder that's sits on the Servo on the Steering Column.

That's two now who have asked this question. I thought it said something about brake fluid on the cap / bottle or has it been removed from the later models? If so it sounds a bit dodgy.

It says in rather small writing in 3 languages :: Clean filler cap before removing. Use only Dot 3 Fluid from a Sealed container.
No DIRECT MENTION OF BRAKE FLUID but to the initiated the Dot 3 bit is the giveaway. But to the uninitiated the only give-away is the word fluid so not very clear to a non D.I.Y. person.

thanks for that , i still haven,t got the door sorted ,i filled the gap with rags for a long journey on wed
