Boot Door Noisy
I've been noticing my boot door is quite noisy, and rattles around as if its not closed properly, which it is.
Is this a common problem, and if so whats the possible fix, as its getting pretty annoying now?
Any thoughts appreciated.

Re: Boot Door Noisy
Take the catch off, clean it out with WD-40.
Keep locking and unlocking it with a screwdriver.
Loads of ming will come out of it.
Push some grease into it.
Put it back in the tail gate.
Adjust the Loop/staple to make it close tight.

One thing to bear in mind is that the latch engages twice - you need to ensure adjustment is made to hold the door tight on the second click, not the first.

Re: Boot Door Noisy
All fixed, took the latch off, gave it a good soak in petrol, then covered it in WD40 after cleaning. Refit and a bit of adjustment and all working well again.
Cheers all.
