I have no tail pipe at the moment, but I do have a nearly new complete back box to fit.

Most that turn up have a missing tail pipe.

Ours fell off and rattled across the axle last year and after running without it for a month or so I welded a slightly bigger bit of tube over the top and then welded that back onto the back box and still running it even passed the MOT.

Turns out I looked at Gumtree oneday to search for "Hijet"

And there it was - a nearly new 1.3 exhaust system in a town next to me for £20!

Yoink! Mine Smile

I've recently fitted a back box and tailpipe section that came from ebay for £110. Kwik fit wanted over £900 as they claimed they couldn't do the job without wrecking the cat and the O2 sensor so they would have to be replaced.

Funnily enough, though they couldn't do it with all their ramps and multi £000 tools I managed it at the side of the road with a socket set and open ended spanner.

They wouldn't have had a big enough piece of paper if they'd quoted for that. Far too many 000s  Laughing
