Hello again.

Went to halfords the other day to get service items for the hijet

wanted to get:

spark plugs
oil filter
oil
air filter

got the oil, thats no problem...

according to halfords book though, they dont sell the oil filter or air filter for the 1.0 efi hijet :S

now they do sell the oil filter for the 1.0 carbed engine.
arent the filters the same for the CB41 (carb) and CB42 (EFI) engines?

and any idea where to get an air filter?
and what ones are best?
halfords dont sell any air filters for hijet (at least my local ones dont :S)

According to this, it's the same oil filter for carb or EFI.

has anyone put a different air filter on there hijet?

e.g. oil bath filter, K&N (or similar), performance foam filter?

mine is an EFI, so I cant put big carbs on it

I've got one of these for our 1300, to go with the performance exhaust.

I've not fitted it yet, as I need to modify the adapter.... But I will.

what sort? a halfords boom/drone box thing?

or a true performance exhaust (motorbike end can? )

Just taken a Halfords oil filter off my CB42 (1.0 EFI) engine; been on for far too long but no leaks or any other problems other than what one would expect from delaying an oil change for too long.
