sparkplug leads confused

ive looked every where for leads but im confused how many they show for hijets,
looked on line been to motorist centre,
my hijet is a 993 se 1996 model,hope someone can help.

under the pillion.. err passenger front seat..
between engine & frame.. kinda half way down the engine..

thought my bikes plug were a sod to get too... till i changed mine on my old 993 3cyl!

i know where they are but i dont know which type or order number.

oooohh... thats easy.. fish one out n write down the PN..... i however would NOT use the find parts with registration as in my old van they gave me the wrong plugs!
they were the right plugs a-cooordin to computer.. they simply did not fit. the nut part of the plug was too big to fit down the chamber.. i didnt tiwg when i had to use another plug socket...
so i took an old one in & got a set of them instead.. at least i knew they damn well fitted!

There are two types for those engines if I remember correctly.

The ones for the 90 degree dizzy cap, and the ones for the straight out dizzy cap.

90 degree on the left, straight out on the right.



Think the one on the left is a carb engine, and the one on the right is an EFi

CB42 is indeed the EFI. Just don't trust anyone trying to sell you a set of 5 leads for a 993!

mine was EFI (RHS pic)... & pmsl.. did i have fun with a mate who helped get the head back on .. he was handing me the plugs... couldnt find the 4th plug.. told him to keep looking coz i put them all in the box... a coffee later..... felt sorry for him & told him to count the HT leads...
 

The 1.3 hijet only has 2 leads!

thanks for diagrams mines the efi on the right and its got 3 leads for plugs .

havnt looked that far yet HJ... if it aint broke.....

Nor me, LP. My 1.3 running sweet as, might change some hose clips soon though...

My pencil has only 1 lead btw
