Getting one Friday... but....
£270
1.3 EFI MPV, blue, bodywork looks ok
unknown mileage, no keys.. HPIed the reg in the photo & will be checking if the VIN matches.
advertised as a non-runner* so expect a few posts in workshop section &if its a total lemon.. i'll break & sell off to get money back.
*Current owner bought to export to Nigeria but has no idea whats wrong with it..
btw.. is it just me or anyone notice the MPV 1.3s kinda scarce as i am guessing most have been exported out the country!

Re: Getting one Friday... but....
And the fun begins...
Fuel can with fuel... Check
Coat hanger & box strapping to break in to van... Check
Car & Trailer/tie downs... Check
Cash... Yup
Entertainment of the seller desperate to sell = me attempting to bargain a few more quid off....
Not got ant expectations, were going to 1) try & get in to the van so I can check the VIN/HPI & try to start it..

Re: Getting one Friday... but....
They are unbelievably easy to get into without keys!
Take the water seal strip off the door, then put a little fold in the end of a straightened out coat hanger so its hook like and pull the mechanism.
If you need a lock set I have a complete van lock set with 1 key.
Remove the cowling off the steering wheel, and take the black switch back off the ignition and see if it runs.
You'll need a nice little chisel to undo the sheer bolts off the steering lock mechanism. Chisel a little noggin on the side of the bolt head, then use it to chase them round to undo them.

You're surprisingly well schooled on breaking into cars...........

Factory Engine immobilizers built into the ECU is where is gets impossible.
With the honda civics I have an ECU I can plug in without any immobilizer
