I'm using the original stud hole space and just moving them inboard . The dead space will be welded up then re drilled at the new pcd . Ill put the pics up when I'm done, I've only got as far as stud removal and turning down the centre bore.

Re: alloys on ebay
I'd be tempted to weld them up first, then turn them because then you can turn back your welds and sort out any distortion at the same time.
Make sure the welder is pretty serious, you want proper penetration in the welds, which means its going to get bloody hot.

The flange mating surfaces will be refaced after the weldings been done . As for the really deep hot penetration ill make sure the welder puts it all in !

Re: alloys on ebay
Surely it would be easier to fit some offset wheel studs no welding needed no need to set up true in a lathe and several hours quicker to fit just may need to drop down to a 10mm stud instead of 12 depending on how big the press fit bit is and then you can convert front and back to match.

Offset wheel studs ? They sound like they cost money!

Re: alloys on ebay
http://www.performancealloys.com/wheel-studs.aspx this is the first place I found and I forgot to add that you could do with longer studs for alloys over steels so all done in one hit on this site all four wheels would cost £56 and I recon that welding and machining would take about 2 hours per wheel and you should replace the studs rather than reuse them, and working on a tenner an hour would be £80 if it all goes to plan
