Re: Fuel Strike 1st May
I have just sent an email to our local radio station to make them aware. We ALL need to do the same!.
Re: Fuel Strike 1st May
Unfortunately they have us all by the short & curlies.
The petrol stations will be extra busy in the days leading up to the 1st, quiet for a few days & then slowly back to normal.
We all need petrol/diesel to go about our normal lives.
Most town centre's are dead & full of empty shops, because we all use the big out of town supermarkets & trading estates.
We all have to get to work & public transport is unreliable, inconvenient & expensive.
I use £45.00 in diesel to cover 400 miles per week just to get to work.
Then petrol for the Hijet & the bikes.
I even have a petrol lawnmower.
The government (bunch of self serving a**eholes, whoever is in power!) have us over a barrel & they know it.
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask...
