Odd One On Ebay

Weird, has the high side windows but doesn't seem to have sunroofs?

That started life as a van. They are not genuine daihatsu windows.

The top windows? Seen quite a few with them? Pass one fairly regularly up here. Agreed, the sliding door windows are odd.

The top ones are Landrover 'Alpine' windows......

The rear windows too are not original, they have wrong seal rubber seal dimensions from the looks of it.

I'd say its a van! Put it through an insurance comparison site and see if it comes up as MPV - I bet it says panel van

Again, I suspect that may be a conversion probably for disabled use. Note that he has been careful to describe it as a panel van in two places.

Although the rear side windows do look slightly odd I think they are about right. Could they be MPV spare parts?

The sliding door windows are too high at the bottom and appear to be sliding windows; the MPV had wind up windows.

There are no sunroofs; the MPV had twin sunroofs as standard (about the only thing that was). Only the Piaggio lists sunroofs as an extra cost option.

As for Alpine windows that may be the source of the idea but it doesn't mean they are actually Land Rover parts.

Can't say any more because there are no interior shots; a disabled conversion will normally have some sort of tracking bolted through the floor -- usually four (different) lengths. Mine were left in presumably because it would be a problem to seal off all bolt holes and also because the tow bar parts shared some of the holes. (Both MPVs and vans were converted for disabled use, just to be awkward).

I can see where you couldn't, so to speak if you were in the back in a wheelchair the windows would be about right? Thing is i kinda like them, don't want side windows(bike handlebars etc knocking against them) but they'd be good when camping.
(maybe after i fit the sliding sunroof i'm considering )

I would not feel guilt, if someone wants to pay that price that is there problem not mine.

Ads a bit dishonest though as its no longer true.

I missed out on a fiat camper from gumtree last week. Was a grand and it appeared on ebay a day later and has just sold for £7K...Gutted I was.
