Differential leak!

My rear differential starts to leak a huge amount of oil from the transmission shaft, yesterday.
I hope it is only the oil seal, that I bought today...

the only other thing it can be is if shaft is damaged by grit getting under the seal if it is that then the new seal will help but may not cure.

Bad luck mate. Nice easy job to get to it I think, not that I've done one before, but its easy to get the drive shaft off then I think take the flange off the input shaft

Seal changed!
Not a bad job, the main difficulty was to lift the Porter with the "arm" lifter...
4 bolts to loose the shaft, and a bolt to release the "cup" that enters in the differential.
A smart idea, in the inside there's the spline, and on the outside works the seal.
Then if the seal damage it's surface, you can easily change it, a simple and lesscostly work than change or repair the shaft.

Now I hope the leak was fixed
