Hi just got the van running again after the head gasket let go and filled the cylinders with water but on putting it all back together I have a plug that I don't remember disconecting but can't find any thing to connect it to it's not the diagnostic plug thats under the dash this is at the back of the engine under the rear cowl. Any Ideas? Pic at

fairly clean its near the plug for the lambda sensor and the ignition that clips on a bracket by the dizzy but this lead is loose, van runs altough I have a engine warning light on but as the head gasket went and filled the barrels up with water I've only been into town and back just to dry the exhaust system out Exclamation

Glad you got it sorted!. We will be starting to wire up my Tuk Tuk with the Hijet wiring loom on Friday/Saturday and am expecting to be doing alot of cursing etc as there are sooooo many plugs and things compared to the 'very basic' wiring loom that came with the Tuk Tuk!!. I am really NOT looking forward to it!.

try laying out the loom on the floor like a schematic and then lable the plugs as to where they look like they belong then once you feed it into your tuk if you need to unwrap or extend any bits to move them about you have a better idea where they go - this is the way we put a stock loom on a custom frame or vicé versa hope this helps.

We labelled 'most' of the plugs before we disconnected the loom out of the Jet. The plugs for lights/switches etc won't be too bad (hopefully). It's the things like Heater wires and windscreen wipers etc as we won't need most of these so will have to chase them out to be able to remove. We are using the rear windscreeen wiper motor on the front of the Tuk Tuk and thought if at all possible I'd like to use the wiring for the rear wiper also as then this would give me the return position, cuz at present the Tuk Tuk one stops wherever you switch it off at!. The other thing that might be a bit of a problem is that a few of the air pipes have been disconnected (accidentally) whilst being installed into the tuk tuk and I only hope we can work out where they all go to.
