MAKING GOOD PROGRESS AT LAST-- ON BOTH FRONTS.
I have over the past month felt that I am making some good progress with my strength and stamina and general Body Core Strength which seems to be the present favourite description for one's fitness programmes. I have been pottering away repairing our manky old wooden Conservatory built 6 months after the house was in 1972, the year I got married for crying out loud !!
I have also built a new Veranda adjacent to the Conservatory too. Been waiting 3 weeks for the five sheets of Polycarbonate from B&Q only to be told yesterday after a whole string of stories that they can't deliver them to the Isle of Wight. What a load of Cobblers. I have been busy on Monday at my new little store garage putting up 3 florescent lights and the first one of 3 double sockets and assembled 4 storage racks and joined them together with the connections provided and screwed them to the wall with the other provided brackets. All in all a pleasing days success.
Last Saturday I went to the Garage and with a friend ( yes, they do exist) played musical Hi-Jets to get Doughboy Slim's (DBS) 993cc Van extracted from the gridlock of vehicles.
I also dug out a couple of the next projects for sale, while we were at it. Both are V reg with one having done only 65,000 miles and strangely enough came from the Winchester area where DBS lives. The other one which is Dual Fuel has done 76,000 miles I think. So if anyone is going to be looking for a 1300 van in the next month I will be getting an Mot on the 65,000 van first and with a good clean and buffing up will be a pretty tidy van. The Dual Fuel one will be ready in about a month.
I also have two Romahome bodies for sale. One is the body in my Avatar picture for around £600 and the other one which had new curtains and seat upholstery 4 years ago and hasn't been used since then will be around £650. These are BODIES ONLY, NO PICK-UP TRUCK. Both have 3 way Fridges and mains hook-up and provision for a 12v. Leisure Battery.
If any of you are interested in any of the above then please contact me by email SENDING YOUR MOBILE NUMBER and of course who you are and I will get back to you. I will post some photos on on here and nearer the time the first one is ready I will post a good few pictures.
I also loaded up 1.5 tons of burnt scrap metal to be weighed in yesterday at the scrapyard at Cowes. Once again a long hard days work but my strength and stamina is really improving noticeably. I have got to sort out a load of spares from my upstairs storage that has got to go to the new stores so plenty to do there also. Good to know you are getting there Woodie. You've had a crap time of it this last year. Don't overdo it and set yourself back.
Take care,

Thank you very much John. Wishes well appreciated.
Don't know what happened there Logi. All the pictures were up on the screen and ready to send. I pressed SEND and that's what happened. Perhaps too many pictures to send at one time?
