Found these.
So, I'm having a panic that my van is dying, having a look on net to see what's around and found these two, don't suppose owners on here anywhere or if anybody recognises them.
They actually look ok, but as we all know that means nothing. the red one in Bristol has my attention, although of course I can't get there to see it so I suppose I'm just window shopping. How annoying that hj has sold his! (Not for hj I'm sure!)

HiglyJetteds Website has the following info,
Tried the DVLA website but it requires the CO2 emmissions, gives a link to a site saying how to find them but it does not list the Hijet.

My 2002 van is £19.68 a month on DD, should be the same as red one on gumtree. My guess is the red one is a better bet than the white - really can't see why a new clutch was needed at that low mileage never mind a new flywheel!

Re: Found these.
For some reason the DVLArseholes stopped putting the tax cost up? Very few post 2001 vans are lower, mine's is £140 and it's a 51 plate, I've seen very few others.

Re: Found these.
It is because of European legislation, that same damn Chestnut as always.
Because Hi-Jets could not be fitted with air bags the Government "HAD" to class them as Light Goods because at the time Light Goods didn't require Air Bags - - yet Westminster is full of them.
So Hi-Jets registered before 2001 have the PLG Classification, the same as a car. It also increases the resale value of Yreg and pre Y reg Hi-Jets which is worth remembering, as the road tax is over £80
cheaper.
I have a 2003 MPV which is physically smaller than a Ford Fiesta believe it or not. A Fiesta carries four people. An MPV Hi-Jet carries 6 thus immediately making it 50% more efficient. Add to that, it also has LPG which is much more environmentally friendly than the stinky old Fiesta and we are being well and truly ripped off. But absolutely nothing that can be done about it. Many of us have tried in the past, and get nowhere. So if you want to save £1-50 a week, buy a pre- 2001. Wow!!
