My son is front man for Wight Floyd { we too live on an Island= The Isle of Wight} and one of the Pink Floyd songs he loves is " Have a Cigar - - from Havana??

Having a 2004 Hi-Jet in Havana must be quite an achievement. Welcome to our great Forum and great guys and girls.

Thank you all for the welcome! It has really cost me much effort keep it in shape. This is probably the only Piaggio Porter in Cuba, so getting parts is really an odyssey. I promise I'll upload some pics soon.

Mr Woody, I know that song. A great song! Just like Havana cigars Wink Hopefully someday I can make you get some of these. Smile

Have a great day!

Been following a story of Hemingway's car being restored there, maybe you could get David Soul interested in the Hijet?  lol!

Don't give up on me baby....
Practical Classics magazine? What a pain getting spares shipped out there. Would have been a lot cheaper to ship the wreck over here and fix it on UK soil, then send it back.

Morfeo we spent 2 weeks (wish it had been 2 months or 2 years ) in your country in late 2013 travelling from la habana to pinar del Rio and down to santiago with many stops in between. By far the most interesting, rewarding and humbling trip of my life. Respect and good luck to you in the years ahead as I think things will be changing. If you see anyone around with a Leeds United shirt on it might be one of the dozens I handed out (un regalo para usted) If you need parts I'll put them in a suitcase and come back! Welcome to hijet world.
