I struggled to find any. I ended up getting a pair matched from the KYB range and they've been fine. Perhaps a good second hand pair?

Surely there is some cross ref as they aren't really unusual? Must be a similar pair for something else?

BUT..

rear shocks Screen10

4853187554 (bottom one) will fit a van, a 1.3 HC van,

But same part number is also listed to fit "PORTER 1400CC DIESEL VAN" here:-

http://www.scribd.com/doc/36503629/Retail-PVG-March2010

And you can buy them off this guy here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PIAGGIO-PORTER-Rear-Shock-Absorber-VAN-4853187554000-GENUINE-NOS/350839444048?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D2215657792944839732%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D231075547331%26

Also you can find a few other people selling 1.4 diesel Porter/Hijer shockers on ebay.

I only paid about £15 for one on my '95 993 a few years back. Can't really see why they'd be different on the diesel. Good work with the cross refs HJ.

I know for a fact that Vans and Pickups have different shockers - Pickups are longer

Well, the site does say the body style is a platform chassis not a van. Also, if you use the KYB part no locator link it does not return a KYB part no for the S85 'bus' or van. So I presume, as he says, it won't fit.
