non starter Empty non starter

rained all day yesterday and thru night and now the vans turning over but no start.
got new battery so thats no problem,plenty of charge.
plenty fuel.
going to spray all plug leads and dissy and see if its just damp.
it was running fine day before yesterday.wish i had garage to keep it in.
is there anybody else who has this problem when its been wet?

Tell me, does the engine warning light come on when you turn the ignition key to the on position?

Can you hear the fuel pump kick in when you turn the key to the on position?

yes it comes on and ive sprayed all leads and dissy but nowt.

think i go get some new plugs,it might help.
engine light stays on and i can hear the pump whirring.

Before you jump to any conclusions:-

are you getting are spark?

if you put a long screw driver to your ear on an injector can you hear it clicking?

Take the dizzy cap off - are the posts bunt or corroded?

I was going to say do the rotor arm as well!

That and the dizzy posts are always a favourite! They both burn a bit over time..........
