The little beast does not look as good as that - close inspection reveals both front indicators smashed, Rear left indicator smashed, drivers door mirror held on with duct tape, windscreen has at least 4 chips and lots of dinks and dents!

Indicators now all done, mirror replaced, sunroofs removed and re-sealed plus a lot of bit and bobs to do yet.

In time - in time...... Smile

Ha!

Yeah.......

The stripes are just stick-on.

They will go when re-sprayed - although SWMBO says she wants to keep them..............

I have seen a Reliant Robin with a huge V8 fitted - also 4 wheels to support the weight! Not road legal, just a mad thing at a steam fair.

It was called 'Throbbin' Robin'

Lol yes wouldn't catch me driving that. Although I do have two Reliants on the drive :-) They came out of the factory with 4 wheels though.

I had a Bond Bug!

235 X 50 tyres and a straight through exhaust with a Cherry-Bomb.

AND it passed MOT like that every year!

Mad as a box of frogs!

There is one here on the Island in absolute Showroom condition. Funnily enough I saw it a couple of days ago in Ventnor in a local supermarket carpark. Anyway enough of these Horror Stories.

We will be giving Logi Nightmares for weeks to come.

There is one dumped for the past three years in a property not
300 yards from where I live and it belongs to a friend of mines
son who lives in Holland. I have been trying to prise it out of his
sticky hands for a while now because he won't do anything with
it.
He only comes home about four times a year and is due again in October. Will have another go at him then.

Years ago I had a fantastic Vulcan Engineering built 3 litre V6
lump in a Mk 4 Cortina.
It developed nearly 200 bhp and had the
triple Weber 40 DFA set up on it with K&N's.
Wonderful induction roar from the Webers when you gave it a boot full.

Somehow I think Brian wouldn't like that and his son even less.
I am damn well going to get it off him eventually.

I will take a couple of piccies and practice my new found skills---

Oh for FS

It really is easy mate.

You have a Photobucket account yes?

So - upload a photo - clic on it to select - look to the RH panel and just clic on the IMG......it will auto copy.
Go back to the forum and paste........(CTL V ) if you want.
THAT EASY!

Photobucket is just a cloud store.
But it has been used for years as a medium for transferring from store to site. I don't quite get the problems?

Just go to 'photobucket' - set up the account and use it.....What is the problem?

Clic paste - easy......

I really don't know what to say other than that......

This cannot be happening?!

Old dogs, new tricks - what a load of nonsense!!

Nice collection of Hijets.

Hey that HW51 FKP van... I might need an ignitor unit (bolted to the rocker cover) for a van I'm visiting down the M6 on Tuesday, but I don't have one in stock. I have all the testing data for the Ignitor unit, so if it turns out to be the cause of the fault I may come begging Wink Do you have one?

Got loads of them off Matt on the shelf. No problem -- let me know ASAP and First class post you should get next day.

LP and Mel did this week and I sent Door Cards to Mel and they were actually over the PO measurements.

I posted them at 15-50pm and he got them before midday.

If you ring me in the morning I can post you one before 4pm and you should get it Monday
morning and you can take it with you and save another journey if it is the problem.

I take it that on a 51 plate you are meaning the individual igniter(4) rather than the earlier double ones ???

Sort the Dosh out afterwards.Very Happy Very Happy

I mean the ignitor unit - not a coil pack.

On a later one, there is 4 coil packs that plug onto the spark plugs.

Then there is an electrical box with a plug on one end and another plug on the other.

Looks like this:-

Right now I know what you mean -- there's a couple in the cabinet
where I keep all the electrical spares.
